Once you've mastered the basics, it's time to speed up your workflow. Here are five features hidden in the slnk.me interface that power users love.

1. Duplicate to Scale

Building a grid of 10 items? Don't build them one by one.

  • Select a CARD or ELEMENT in the Layers panel.
  • Right-click (or look for the copy icon) to Duplicate.
  • It preserves all your styling, shadows, and fonts—just swap the image and text!

2. Reordering Layers

Did you drop an image and it disappeared behind a background?

  • Go to the Layers Panel on the left.
  • Drag the layer up to bring it to the front (z-index).
  • This is crucial for creating overlapping "magazine style" effects where text sits partially over an image.

3. Deep Linking Tabs

You have tabs for "My Desk" and "Community." Did you know you can link directly to them?

  • If you share slnk.me/p/yourname?tab=community, visitors will land directly on that specific tab.
  • Great for sharing specific resources on Twitter without forcing users to hunt for them.

4. The "Eye" Toggle

Not ready to reveal a new project?

  • In the Layers panel, click the Eye Icon next to any element group.
  • This hides the element from the live site without deleting it. Perfect for preparing launches in advance.

5. Global Theme Overrides

You picked the "The Creator" theme, but want your own font?

  • Click the Theme button in the top right.
  • You can override specific colors or fonts while keeping the underlying structure of the theme intact.

Work smarter, not harder.
